Sorry the past few weeks have been slow on the ‘Wind’ front. I am not a big fan of posting cell phone photos on this site, so I’ve tried to keep it slim to avoid ruining the sanctity of it.
Along with the guys you’ve been seeing in the photographs for the past two years, I’ve been figuring out where to go with this project. It has been quite an adventure, and has brought us all together in the best of ways, and has taught me much about myself as an individual and friend. I consider this project a success in many ways, but I currently find myself in a place similar to last year after the release of the book…missing closure.
Motorcycling has become ingrained within my life and my day to day routine. That will not end, but does the camera continue to record each moment? Do I let it invade the new, psychic quiet that I crave while in the garage? There seems to be a sort of plateau at the moment, a level of unusual contentment I have reached with myself, the bikes, and the camera…do I shake these things up, or enjoy the silence for a moment.
Where do we go from here? Farther? Faster? To you who have been following this thing build and flourish, I ask you for your input as well.
Message me, engage.
Scott, and the rest of the ‘Wind’ crew.
